iPhone? Not Yet.

Well, on July 11th I stood in line for 3 hours after spending 2 hours taking buses to reach my nearest AT&T store to get an iPhone 3G. We got down to about 20 people in front of me in line. Then I saw a guy with an AT&T shirt on come out of the store. At this point everyone pretty much expected the bad news. Of course we were right. They ran out of iPhones. The only options we had were to come back the next day and maybe get an iPhone, or stay in line and pay for one to be sent to the store specifically for you. This would be within seven days the guys said. So most of the people in line including the 50 or so behind me stayed to make sure we got our phones when they became avaliable again.

So I just got the call from the guy at the store who served me, saying that my 16GB Black iPhone 3G has arrived. Guess where I'll be going tomorrow! I just hope I don't have trouble activating the thing.
